Do you think it makes sense to say that a spiritual entity has control over the natural world?

The difficulty of denying the control of a spiritual entity over the world, stems from the human species' nature as a social animal. The part of the brain that constantly relates to others of the species, has to anthropize all the perceived stimuli.
