Need to find a rescue in ohio for 10 month old german shepherd male?

I need to find a rescue for my dog that can handle and work with some of his issues. he is to over protective and growls when my son comes near me. he's been nipping at people that try to pet him. he didn't start doing that until a friend of mine came over a few times and teased him. i told her to stop messing with him and she wouldn't listen so he actually bit her on the thumb. i know he shouldn't bite anyone but she wouldn't listen and would get in his face and stare in his eyes and taunt him. she didn't listen when i told her to stop and she just teases my dogs. i have a 2 yr old golden retriever female that is as sweet as can be. i adopted her from an abusive family, anyways this girl kept starring in her eyes and blowing in her face, she actually jumped up and nipped her too. she pesters my dogs and i'm not sure if that caused something in my gsd to change. he is still young and so smart he amazes me everyday he does something new. he knows all basic commands i just can't have him around my son if he is growling at him when he comes near me. so if anyone knows where i can place him and someone can help him it would be great. he takes a few days to warm up to new people. when i take him to my dad's out on a farm he is great he plays great with the kids doesn't growl or anything. it's at my house he does all this. plz if someone can help or recommend someone that has the experience with gsd i would really appreciate it. he's to smart and can be a great dog and i don't want to put him down without trying to help him first
