What kind of boots should i get? help?!?

ok so I have a problem cause I need boots for the winter that are like uggs that have fur & keep your feeet very warm in the cold, but I dont like the clic uggs, I think they are so overpriced & overworn by everyone in my school. I was about to get the bailey ons, but I read the reviews & people said how the flap fell down every second so that turned me off....So I need to find boots that are warm for my feet & cute & inexpensive & Are boots, NOT SLIPPERS, I want to be able to wear them alot. I just dont have a clue what kind of boots I should look for! Any ideas?!
