Ok, ladies SEVERE UTI i was told I had, at the hospital....still have it after antibiotics? ?

Last Friday morning I went to ER, was told I had a severe UTI. I took the 5 pills they gave me, Levaquin I think) - went to doc to see how all looked yesterday, and I still have it...that doc just prescirbed some more antibiots, a cheaper kind, said hte Levaquin did the big job, now we should be ok w/ a weaker one ??? ? ? ? ? wtf, why would i still have it, and what s going to happen if i stillll have it, i do not like taking pills at all.very unnatrual, and i know antibiots u really need not take many as body gtets immunity..what if thats happening here.
